Jake had a very successful 2006 as he went on to teach Karate part-time. In 2008 under Sensei Masoe Kawasoe, Jake passed his 2nd Dan black belt. In 2010 Jake started teaching Karate full-time after attaining three A levels at Norwich City College and in 2013 Jake passed his 3rd Dan Black Belt under the TSKUK/WTKO panel with Sensei Richard Amos 7th Dan.

These are just the highlights of Jake’s competition career he also has many other gold, silver and bronze medals at international and national events.
Another highlight of Jake’s Karate career was visiting the WTKO headquarters in New York in 2014. He has also had the privilege to train with some of the world’s leading Karateka and on many occasions been able to have the rare treat of socialising with them outside of the dojo. Some of these instructors include. In his martial arts career Jake has also practised Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and Boxing.
Jake went on to form TKF with Danny Jordan, James Daniels and Matthew Yardy in 2014, after leaving his previous association of 12 years. Since forming TKF, Jake has resumed competing after a 3-year break and achieved two gold medals at the recent SRK championships in Essex.
